The house " Blue Shutters & Red Bricks " is ideal for a break with family, friends or as a couple in Albi in the Tarn in the heart of Occitane. This house full of charm and character is divided into two independent apartments. The first, a duplex , connects the ground floor and the first floor by an internal wooden and metal staircase, which goes from the living room to one of the bedrooms. Outside, an iron staircase will allow you to go from the interior courtyard to the terrace!
Sheltered from view, the interior courtyard has a hint of the South, with its brick vault and hammock. The semi-covered terrace, with its yellow and blue mosaic, invites you to a barbecue, a nap, and/or a game of cards.
On the second floor, bathed in light, all in orange, yellow and white, the other apartment of the house, will accommodate a couple or a small family of four people. If you lean a little, not much, out of the window of the apartment on the 2nd floor of the house "Blue Shutters and Red Bricks", if you look a little... not much, you will see our cathedral !
The house is ideally located for exploring the Tarn and welcomes you all year round.
Our cathedral and its surroundings are listed as UNESCO World Heritage Sites , a wonderful recognition for a magical place....
So you will see it from the house, oh of course not entirely, just a little bit of its bell tower...just enough to not feel it is far away, and above all to make you want to go and meet it to discover it in all its splendor...
Because it is not far from the house, barely 10 minutes strolling gently, going up Boulevard Andrieu and its plane trees, passing in front of our little theater and crossing the national garden then discovering the pedestrian streets to finally arrive at the foot of the cathedral.
